LIZ CLAIBORNE

Liz Claiborne was a fashion icon and clothing designer from the 70s through the 90s best known for her moderately priced women's sportswear separates. She was the first woman to be honored in the Fortune 500 list, having sold over a billion under her Liz Claiborne clothing line. She was also the first to suggest that department stores give her collections their own department so people could shop it as a whole.

Liz Claiborne is remembered by her iconic large oval glasses and short hair-- sophisticated and powerful. Her collections mirrored the feminist power politics of the 1980s with large shoulder pads, menswear and bold colors and prints.

Check out some cool Liz Claiborne pieces we have at the shop below! This is a brand we are always stocking, so keep an eye out on our Instagram!!

Kokorokoko Fashion Show at the Italian Expo

Last week we had a super fun time styling our Fellini inspired fashion show at the Italian Expo! We worked with our favorite local stylist Agga B. to create a magical fashion parade that really kept the audience guessing! Thanks to all the models who walked and everyone who came to the event--it was a blast!

Fall Looks at Kokorokoko

Even if you can't afford a jaguar to drive you can still promote the brand with this vintage sweatshirt! It even says jaguar down the side of the sleeve.
This vintage Gitano button up cardigan has an awesome pattern! Great for a girl or a guy.
Radical style and mixed materials in this super warm sweater/ jacket! Leather details, double breasted leather buttons and ribbed knit sleeves. Its a true original!
LONDON! PAAAAARIS !!! Awesome Tyvek jacket that celebrates the cities of Europe !

Fall colors at Kokorokoko this year are Eggplant, teal, mustard, black. Yeah that's pretty much the same as in 1990...haha! We can't get enough of colorblocking either, like in this corduroy button down below.

Woah, this vintage Puma sweatshirt is in perfect condition. Two tones of grey accented by red with a cool logo on the front. Great look for fall!
We have tons of great skirts in right now. Warm skirts are key for fall and these three are knit, wool and have radical patterns! We are super into the black and white harlequin pattern on the above skirt, and the stripes in this wool pencil skirt from Armani Exchange. It even has pockets!!
This knit skirt below is so awesome because it incorporates two 80s classics--mottled grey knit and large polka dots.

A Day in the Life: A Pokadelick Adventure!

Here are a couple of Dope golden age hip hop jams for you!

This is a super rare 1990s jacket from Starters "Flip Side" line of reversible hats and jackets. This particular jacket is silk and has sold black sleeves, one with a air force bomber style pen pocket and large polka dot body. The "flip side" reversed pattern is simple black quilted. Very Kwame stylee!
