Style Inspiration: The Spice Girls

When I think of the Spice Girls I think of those explosive girl power pop anthems of my youth and the wild, eye candy that is Baby, Scary, Sporty, Posh and Ginger. The Spice Girls spectacularly mash up styles of iconic eras including 60s mod shifts and Go-Go boots, 70s leopard printed jump suits, 90s crop tops and sportswear as well as the vixen fabrics of lace and velvet. Style Inspiration: Do the Right Thing

In the opening of Spike Lee's classic Do the Right Thing from 1989 Rosie Perez does a killer dance routine wearing some hot get ups including a boxing outfit and a red mini dress. We couldn't help but think of her as we dressed our mannequin in this Versace inspired blazer and sequined crop top. The Reebok heather boxing robe pictured above is comfy and totally unisexy. It even has interior pockets and a hood!
