Daisy Chain

Between 1989 and 1994 there was a hippy revival ignited by the 20th anniversary of the Woodstock festival and the Summer of Love as well as the election of the first Democratic president in over a decade. Psychedelic color schemes, flower power motifs and loose fitting pattered clothing became ubiquitous. Rock and pop acts as well as hip hop groups saw a "free love" style revolution that united them and encouraged cross pollination of styles and genres.  As rave culture went mainstream the hippy style morphed, becoming over-sized and cartoonish.
We have some really great examples of 90s hippy revival style in a Kokorokoko right now:

This dayglo maxi dress is available in our ONLINE SHOP . The beaded peace sign necklace and 80s plastic charm necklaces are available at our Milwaukee Ave location

Prada's SS13 kitschy daisy motif is a great update of the 90s flower power style. The vintage version is avaible at our shop and is from the Limited and features a plastic daisy on the chest and mock neck.
