80s Banana Republic Travel & Safari Clothing

In the 1980s, Banana Republic was still a purveyor of Indian imports, Israeli army surplus and other exotic goods aimed at yuppie armchair adventurers. These safari boots are a perfect example of the jungle "Crocodile Dundee" look that Banana Republic popularized. The boots are also reminiscent of Vivienne Westwood's pirate boots.
